As a Certified Acceptance Agent (CAA), Iris can certify original documents so clients that need to apply for an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) can file their taxes. The would not have to send their original passport and birth certificate to the IRS so this is a big selling point especially since the pandemic, the consulates have limited appointments and people cannot apply for a new passport and are not willing to let go of their only identification and have to wait 3-4 months before the IRS returns an original documents.
